Initially hand sculpted in plaster, the textural details, and simple lines of the symmetrical design express the energy between sculptor, material and shape.

Emphasising the flattened form, Martin’s design has gently contoured sides which meet at the base with a simple ornamental coin or disc. Simplicity, innocence, honesty of materials and purity of line make this an harmonious piece.
