Introducing the sculptural Shoreline chandelier

Inspired by open sea, land and sky, Martin Huxford's Shoreline chandelier is a hand sculpted centrepiece light, rich in contrasting textural detail and character.

Living close to the sea, Martin has drawn on the constant rhythm of ocean tides and open horizons to create an abstract sculpture which effortlessly evokes an atmosphere of openness and calm.

The extended curve which defines the top of the ring references the dynamic arc of breaking waves. The asymmetric profile gradually blends into the gentler curve of the chandelier.

The narrow decorative band contrasts in pattern and texture with the main ring, and supports the obscured lighting for the chandelier. The textured band suggests an expansive horizon, merging the distinction between sea and sky.

The chandelier is handcrafted to order at our Sussex studio, and is available in two standard sizes, diameter 120cm (47") and diameter 95cm ( 37.5").
