We are thrilled to share images with you of the Arbour Chandelier, featured in this landmark shoot for Livingetc Magazine

Livingetc magazine hails the rise of 'The New Pretty' across both haute couture fashion and contemporary interiors, in a new aesthetic of pale floaty fabrics, ruffles and rich textures, counterpointed and given added drama with allusions to the simple lines and oversized scale of modernism.

This New Romanticism is embodied by the Arbour Chandelier and its other-worldly design. Full of movement and contrasting textures, the Arbour's sweeping arms and simple shades are decorated with golden highlights, while the elegant swan-like neck creates atmosphere and drama. Martin's unique hand sculpted chandelier embraces classicism and modernism in a fresh way, creating an audacious blend of the contemporary, the classical, and the natural world.

The perfect backdrop of classical curves and beautiful texture is provided by North Mymms Park, a beautiful 16th century Elizabethan Mansion House outside London. The intricately carved white marble gallery, and arched mosaic ceiling set the scene for this meeting between Romanticism and Modernism.

Warmest thanks to Livingetc Magazine, to photographer Jake Curtis, and to the amazing Art Director and interiors Stylist Hannah Franklin and her team.

Each commissioned Arbour Chandelier is a unique signed sculpture by Martin Huxford, made to order at our Sussex Studio.
