A striking sculptural piece for luxury interiors, the handcrafted artistry of this design adds depth, texture and warmth. Two individually cast bronze pieces provide the richly textured geometric frame for the central projection of angled, smooth alabaster.
Martin sculpts the asymmetric Edge side sections in plaster before casting in bronze, allowing him to create a complex surface of subtle marks and movement. His design explores the contrasting energies and textures of the materials, with the hand marked bronze forming a unique frame for the translucent alabaster.
The Edge evokes a dramatic sense of movement and excitement through the folded asymmetric geometry and contrasting textures of these luxury materials.
Each Edge wall light is hand made to order at our Sussex Studio and is available in the following hand patinated finishes: antique gold, light bronze and dark bronze.
