Creative artistry and traditional craftsmanship combine to define this centrepiece chandelier, hand carved from alabaster and bronze. The geometric sculpted facet clasps are now available in custom finishes of gold and antique silver leaf.
The Facet design is a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship, a centrepiece light bringing complex sculptural depth and texture to interiors.
The chandelier creates a natural focal point, adding the unique warmth and resonance of the handmade to interiors. Jewel-like facets of bronze support the luminescent circle of carved alabaster, creating a magical ring of diffused light, a rich juxtaposition of singular materials and textures.
The Facet foregrounds the contrasting qualities of material form and texture, the honed surface of shaped alabaster contrasting with the expressive texture of the sculpted asymmetric facet clasps.
Martin sculpts the Facet clasps in plaster before casting and finishing. Exploiting the fluidity of plaster, he creates a richly accented surface of organic textures, forging a dramatic connection with the natural alabaster.
