From Sussex to San Francisco Pacific Heights mansion

We are thrilled the Cissbury Plaster Pendant was chosen by celebrated designer Katie Monkhouse Interiors in her beautiful vision for the Garden Apartment at this year's showcase Pacific Heights mansion. Thank you!

The prestigious 49th annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase transformed a 5 storey mansion in the iconic Pacific Heights. The mansion underwent a magical make over at the hands of 19 top Bay Area designers, including the truly gorgeous scheme by Katie Monkhouse Interiors.

In addition to delighting the senses and setting interiors style trends, the San Francisco Decorator Showcase benefits the financial aid programme at San Francisco University High School.

The Cissbury Pendant is "Our most asked about piece! It's so stunning!" Katie Conway Monkhouse

Martin's design for the Cissbury is a celebration of light, of pure organic curves and rich texture, an expression of his artistic intentions and his craft.

Martin's material of choice is plaster, which he uses to sculpt the distinctive contemporary plaster form and expressive texture of the Cissbury. Martin places the light sources within the bowl, and the base of the column to dramatic effect, accentuating the shape and patterns of textured light and shade.

Each Cissbury Pendant is one of kind, signed and made to order at Martin Huxford's studio in Sussex. The Cissbury is available in two sizes. Please get in touch for custom sizes and hand painted finishes.
