This one of a kind plaster chandelier forms the centrepiece of Martin Huxford’s new Vision of Nature collection, and acts as a creative template for new lighting commissions for projects. New works can closely follow the fantastical form of the Fantasia, or can take a new creative path.

The Fantasia Chandelier is an other-worldly celebration of nature’s energy and opulent beauty and takes us to a magical landscape of surrealist forms, exuberant, exaggerated giant leaf-like shapes and simplified architectural flower stems. Martin’s work champions the power of the handmade and the importance of re-establishing our connection with nature, of returning it to the heart of our manufactured world.

Working primarily in raw plaster, Martin has developed innovative new techniques to achieve the rich, animated sculptural forms of this extraordinary collection.
